Bricole – The biscuit inspired by the poles of the Venetian lagoon

This biscuit takes its name from one of the most common structures in the Venice lagoon. The briccola, or bricola, is a nautical structure used to mark the route to follow when sailing between the islands of the Venetian lagoon: it is made of two or more large oak poles tied together and driven into the seabed.

This little sweet stays true to the classic Bussolà recipe, with the addition of chocolate chips. Thanks to their elongated shape, Bricole are ideal for dipping.

Ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, pasteurised egg yolk, butter 7%, non-hydrogenated vegetable fats (coconut, sunflower), dark chocolate chips (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, emulsifier (E322 soya lecithin), flavouring (vanillin)), lemon flavouring, vanillin, salt.
